Picture of the Day - "Lunch to Go" - Jan. 27, 2017

Took a bit of a drive today to Sheffield Mills, NS. Cold, windy and snowing made for some real interesting shots. We apparently missed the first feeding but there was a second today. There were about 20 to 30 eagles in the trees surrounding the field. After we were there about an hour and half, or so, the eagles started to get interested in the goodies on the field. Things got very interesting for about 15 to 20 minutes and it was hard to know where to look. This eagle got smart,  grabbed his lunch and flew off to the trees away from everyone else. Taken with Canon 7D Mark II, Sigma 150-600mm @ 600mm, 1/1000sec, f/8 and ISO 2000
