Picture of the Day - " Looking Down on the Lesser Beings" - May 27, 2016

Many birds seem to have real attitude. So many times we see them chasing other birds or harassing them. With Eagles being the top of their society, they always seem to have attitude to spare. This morning when we stopped by the local nest, to see how the little one was doing, it seemed the parent was teaching it how to look down on other species, us in particular. The expression on the parents face seems to say, "You are beneath my notice" and the little one is trying to copy it. The problem with that is that the little one is still very young and very curious, so its look is more quizzical. Taken with Canon 70D, Canon 100-400 mm @ 400mm, 1/800, f/6.3 and ISO 200
