Picture of the Day - "Mad Like a Wet Hen" - Jan. 25, 2017

Stopped by the Moncton Eagle's nest to make sure it made it through the Ice Storm. Ran into a couple of other bird watchers there as well. On the way out, Bev saw an Eagle, sitting in a tree, beside the lake that was Hall's Creek. It looked very much like a 4 year old. After a couple of minutes, it flew off, I though it might of headed to the nest so we started back. I stopped when I saw what I thought was another Eagle sitting alongside the water, through the trees. Now that I have the pictures up on the computer, we think these may have been the same Eagle. It might even have been Momma Eagle. If those who watched the Eagles all summer, think back, when Momma was drenched, her head looked dark, like she was a 4 year old. She looked really ticked off by all the water. Taken with Canon 70D, Sigma 150-600mm @ 600mm, 1/800sec, f/8 and ISO 640
