This morning, right after work, we made the trip to Caissie Cape again as the sun was supposed to make an appearance and I thought I would try catching the sunrise. We were a bit late for the actual sunrise, but the water was very rough as it was windy and bitterly cold (-18). The sun was shining low in the sky and backlighting the waves, and there were low clouds on the horizon which made it interesting. I thought I would try something I haven't done with this camera. I was using my Canon 6D and I usually have it on 'one shot' and not on 'AI Servo'. However, I thought I would see what it could do for tracking the waves. I must say that I was quite impressed. I just held down the shutter. There was only 1 shot out of focus of over 20 in this series. And the 1 that was out of focus was because I had to move out of the way of the wave coming in as it landed only a foot from me. I think I will be putting this camera on tracking more often :) This was the last shot from this morning, just as one of the waves hit the rocks.
