A little something from yesterday. Spent some time down at Tantramar, hoping to catch sight of one of the Snowy Owls reported there. We saw one fly across the highway, about 10 feet over the road, in front of us, last week. It appeared to be a male as it was all white.
Sundown was at about quarter after 5 and we were starting to head home, as is was getting dark. We spotted this Snowy Owl, female, flying across the fields and land on this mound of earth. This picture is a lot more grainy than I would like but it was taken at about 6:30 so we were almost totally out of light.
