Today with the severe snow storm happening (and still happening, can't get out my door), I thought I would try something different. I set up a macro shot of one of my rings. I didn't have my tripod with me today, so I had to be a little creative. I have a blue external hard drive, so I laid my ring on top and then with a light in one hand, shone it on the ring, and held my camera in the other to take the picture. Needless to say, I didn't breath while I clicked the shutter....lol. I do like the results. I will be trying some more "product" shots with different set ups in the future. Canon 5D Mk lV & Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM - 1/160, f6.3, ISO 1600, -1 exposure compensation, hand held.
