Late this afternoon we dropped in on the juvenile bald eagles again. They soon won't be around so we are checking in on them every so often. When we got there, one was in the nest and the other was over in the field on one of her favouite perching spots. Then after a little while L'eagle (pictured here) decided to fly off in the opposite direction and circle around and come in for a landing on the top of a very tall spruce tree a few yards away. The landing was not so graceful and she struggled a bit for balancing, then was good. Then after another few minutes saw her sister in the field eating something and decided that she was going to join her for supper and flew over to her. This was taken just after L'eagle started to lift off while she protested her sister eating without her....lol. Taken with Canon 7D Mark ii & Canon 400mm F5.6 L USM lens.
