After watching the eagles this morning in Sheffield Mills, NS (there will be quite a few posts on the eagles....lol), we drove down to Baccaro Point to see if we could spot the Snowy Owl. It was getting dark when we got there as it was a 3 hour drive from Sheffield. We didn't see anything on the way in and drove around, then parked and took some wave photos (it was very windy and the waves were crashing hard on the rocks). After another little bit, we drove back and forth and finally saw this guy, the male Snowy Owl. Didn't see the female but she might have been out hunting or in another spot we didn't see. He didn't seem to concerned we were there taking his picture and only looked at us briefly and then went on with what he was doing :)
