Picture of the Day - "Perfect Landing" - Nov. 10, 2016

Stopped by the local watering hole to see if we could spot the eagles again. We haven't seen them in several weeks and were wondering if they may have moved off for the fall and winter. When we arrived, we spotted one in the trees on the far side of the pond and then the second flew in and landed on the top of one of the dead trees. It only stayed a minute and flew off again. This pair of eagles is a bit skittish, it seems, and never seem to stick around when we are there, even though we are quite some distance away.  Taken with Canon 70D, Sigma 150-600 mm @ 600 mm, 1/1250, f/6.3 and ISO 500
