This morning, right after work, we took a short drive over by a local pond to see what was there. When we arrived, there was a cormorant, a few ducks, and then a blue heron flew in. The moon was still up in the sky as it was early. I heard geese in the distance and wondered if they would be flying overhead as I wanted to try getting a shot with the moon in it. Well, they did fly by, and then this straggler, was very close as he flew by. So I took my shot when he turned his head to look at me :) I like the way this turned out :)
