Today we went to check out the Dieppe Marsh. It was another wet, rainy, misty day with a lot of fog everywhere. Despite the fact it was grey and dark and the skies were not inviting, the colours of the surrounding grass, weeds, trees, etc were saturated with vibrant colour. We found this guy after a brief squabble with another ring-necked pheasant, when he took off in flight and was flying like a bullet across the marsh. Taken with Canon 5D Mark IV & Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary + Sigma TC-1401 1.4x Teleconverter.
