Spent a bit of time on Sunday morning spying on the local wildlife. There is an Osprey nest right next to the highway ramp that offered good viewing. When we got there, the male was sitting in a tree on the other side of the road. We didn't stay long, as I think we worried them a bit, due to his protective behaviour, in covering her with his body. We did not appear to be a threat though, as he flew off, back to the tree, after only a few seconds.
