Today I decided to play around in the dark, literally and try to capture an image of Roger's cat "Trouble". She's not the most co-operative subject....lol, but I managed to follow her in a spare room. The lights were not on and it was after sundown, so it was extremely dark in the room. I could barely see where I was going. She stopped over in a corner of the room so I thought this was my opportunity to try. This was a test with the camera's low light capability which was pushing it to the limit today. You can see how much her pupils are open because of the darkness. It was also a test with my new toys, the Magmod system. The camera didn't have much of a problem focusing even in this low light. Sometimes the AF on the flash will fire if the camera can't get focus, but it didn't this time, so it was all on the camera to focus. It did a great job as did the Magmod :)
Today was a simple test with the Magmod system and I plan on getting more creative with them in the near future :)
