Oh Deer(y) Me

Saturday morning, we went out to catch the sunrise and see what we could spot in the way of wildlife. We got some good sunrise shots and then traveled around spotting all sorts of deer. Most were in farmer’s fields that were marked for no hunting or landowner’s permission required. Some of them we have seen several times. They seem to know where they are safe. As we were driving along, we spotted this little one, on the edge of the woods. It wandered around looking for good things to eat, among the fall leaves, and only looked up a couple of times to check us out. We watched it and took pictures for about 10 minutes before it wandered off into the woods. None of the picture are cropped.
