I was going through my pictures from this past January when we went down to Sheffield Mills, NS to watch the bald eagles and there are several that I have not gotten around to post yet (yes, I know Shane, we're getting to it....lol). So I thought for my picture of the day, I would add another one :)
This is when one of the eagles made a dive for the food and was coming in with that intense look that they are famous for. I love the wing position here and the dangling feet :)
Taken with Canon 5Div & Canon 100-400mm f4-5.6 L IS ll with the Canon 1.4x ll teleconverter. Shot settings: 1/2000 secs, f8, ISO 6400, +1 exposure compensation, @560mm.
