Since I wasn't able to get out today to get any photos, I decided to go back in my files to see what I haven't posted yet and came up with these :)
Back in April, on our usual driving around looking for photo opportunities, we had stopped at Point-du-chene. There were several species of ducks there at that time and one was a female red-breasted merganser. She was swimming all by herself and then a couple of males started swimming up. She floated in the water a few seconds more, then took off......running on water....lol. I had to laugh watching her, as she literally looked like she was running on water until she got enough speed to take off in the air :)
Taken with Canon 7D Mk ll & Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM + Canon 1.4x lll teleconverter @560mm.
Feel free to share :)
