Today, we took a trip up to Lameque, New Brunswick to see the Atlantic white-sided dolphins that are stranded at the main harbour. Hopefully the Animal Rescue crews will be able to get the pingers they are planning to hang over the boats to direct the dolphins towards the passage. The area they need to cross is only a meter deep at high tide. There are six of them (4 adults & 2 calves). There were 7, but unfortunately, one died 2 days after being stranded.
Pictured below is one of the calves with an adult. I will be posting some more photos taken today in a later post.
