Picture of the Day - "Cycle of Life" - Sept. 29, 2016

Stopped by the pond this morning and saw both Eagles. One siiting in a tree on the far side of the pond and the other flying off into the distance. There was a Cormorant but in a spot I could not get a good picture and some Grebes. Went down the trail on the other side of the road and saw some ducks in another pond. There was one who looked like he was vacuuming the surface of the water. We walked around for a bit until we saw some intersting grafiitti along the side of an overpass. Heading back to the car I saw this flower alongside the road. It shows the full cycle of the flower from bud, to bloom, to gone to seed. Taken with Canon 70D, Canon 100-400 mm @ 400 mm, 1/1250 sec, f/6.3 and ISO 400
